TREE OF TREES..

Here are published the family trees of some branches of the Matteini family. Some have been reconstructed through our researches, others have been sent by some users with the purpose of publishing them here on our site. Others are the result of a private research of their own branch. All, however, related to the House Matteini, and collected here to form a single, large....

TREE (genealogical) of TREES.

Family tree of Matteini di Rimini (IT)/ Venado Tuerto - Santa Fe (Argentina)
(Courtesy of the family)

The Italian community in Argentina is the largest in the world. In Argentina there are many descendants of Italians who emigrated from all over Italy as early as the 19th century, an emigration that continued into the next century and continues today.
In Venado Tuerto, a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, with more than 80,000 inhabitants, there is a Matteini family whose ancestor, Tommaso Matteini, emigrated there from Rimini with his wife Maria Guidi and their 13-year-old son Antonio.
From a letter written by Tomas' grandfather, Ramon Matteini, son of Antonio who arrived in Argentina at the age of 13, to Tomas' father, Ruly, we learn that shortly after Tommaso Matteini's arrival in Argentina, two of his brothers, Santo and Adolfo, also emigrated and were later joined by his sister, Olga (?), who was married to Giovanni Palmerini and had a son.
Tomas has provided us with both the letter in question that his grandfather Ramon wrote and the family tree that he was able to reconstruct. The family tree can be seen here, while the letter can be seen in the "documents" page.
We sincerely thank Tomas and Ruly, who provided us with their personal information about our namesakes, granting us among other things the permission to publish them on our site.
A warm greeting to the whole Italian/Argentinean community.

Family tree of the Matteini family of Chiusa Sclafani
( Courtesy of the family )

Chiusa Sclafani is a commune in the province of Palermo, and has about 2700 inhabitants. Here in Chiusa Sclafani there is a branch of the Matteini family, which finds its origins in Tuscany, precisely in Siena.
We would like to thank in particular Salvatore, Giuseppina, Rosamaria, but also all the other members of the family for having sent us their family tree. You can view it by clicking on the following link: family tree Chiusa Sclafani

The image reproduced here is the coat of arms of the municipality of Chiusa Sclafani, since to date we have not yet been able to find the coat of arms of the branch, but we are confident and maybe soon we will be able to publish it.

Family tree of the Matteini of Rome
( Courtesy of the owner )

This tree is published on our site thanks to the concession of the owner, as well as author of the research of the family tree published here. This is a branch of the family that has left an indelible mark in the history of the Risorgimento in Rome, so much so that it was also dedicated a street, Via dei Matteini, thanks to the interest of the descendant of the family in question, Alessandro. We have news of this branch since 1667, the year in which the founder arrived in Rome, coming from Pistoia, following Cardinal Giulio Rspigliosi, elected Bishop of Rome (Pope), who chose for himself the name of Clement IX. The coat of arms reproduced here is taken from Alessandro's personal site.

If you have had the opportunity to visit the section "Heraldry and Research", you cannot help but notice that the city of Pistoia comes up again as the place of origin of a branch of the House. This leads us to think that, yes, Perugia seems to be the mistress for the origins of our surname with this 'Aloisio di Matteino', Captain of Fortune (we are in the thirteenth century), and consequently of our ancestors, but we must not forget that we find traces of Matteini, always in the thirteenth century. even in Lucca, in practice a little more than 40 km. from Siena ... We want to leave a free interpretation of the facts, until we will not be able to find more secure and detailed information about it.

Here below you can see the family tree of the Rome branch (as well as Alessandro Matteini's personal website).

Family tree of Matteini di San Marino(IT)/Espirito Santo (BR)
( Our research on request )

When we first published this site on the web, we were contacted first by Humberto Matteini, then by his uncle Pedro Matteini, who told us that Humberto's great-grandfather, Marino, had arrived in Brazil at the age of 8 with his family from Italy, specifically from San Marino, and asked if we could recover the names of their ancestors. The request at first seemed a bit too big for our abilities, we were at the beginning of our genealogical experience, but we didn't lose heart, and we made a trip to the land of Humberto's ancestors: San Marino!
Through written requests and permits, we managed to access the data of the historical archives and found what we were looking for - in fact, much more than we had hoped for. We managed to find the data of Humberto's ancestors going back as far as 1740, and we hope to be able to go back a little further. Here is the link to access the San Marino/Holy Spirit family tree.

Again, it is a must, less a pleasure, to thank Humberto and Pedro for allowing us to live this experience of researching his ancestors thanks to the trust placed in us with their request.

The image we attach for this family tree is the coat of arms of San Marino, because, as for Chiusa Sclafani, to date we have not been able to find the coat of arms of the branch. However, we have other data from San Marino to put under our lens, so we hope that a coat of arms of the branch will come out as well.

Family tree of Matteini di Montespertoli (FI)
( Our private research )

This that we publish in this section we believe that it is, unfortunately and today that we write, the largest family tree that we have been able to reconstruct. We say unfortunately because we would like to be able to enlarge also the other trees, to be able to find as much information, dates and quant'altro, so as to be able to add other names to the other genealogical trees. But we do not despair. We hope in the near future to succeed in this intent.

As we said, this is the tree, to date, richer in data, but when you visit the file you will notice that some descendants stop abruptly at the end of 1800, or even we have the name but there is no continuation of descent (See Amaddio). We hope to fill these gaps just through the publication of these family trees, in the hope that some visitor to the site will recognize the name of a great-grandfather, a great-uncle, or an acquaintance, and help us to continue his lineage.

The coat of arms published here refers to the town of Montespertoli, a town of over 13000 inhabitants, about 25 km from Florence. The branch in question developed in this community. Here is the link to access the family tree of Montespertoli (FI).
